Doris Marie Hodges McCorkle

Springfield – Doris Marie Hodges McCorkle, 92, passed away November 9, 2018 at Effingham Care Center.

The Florida native was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burlie and Ethel Eunice Avery Hodges; and husband, Charles Atwell McCorkle, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Harriet Leibfried, Charles A. McCorkle, Jr. (Judy), Susan Langford (Larry), Teresa Durden (Demetrice); 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Effingham Care Center and a special thanks to, Kathy O'Sako (Pink Lady), Angela Walls and Rose Brown.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Springfield Cemetery Annex.
