Rincon – Doris Geneva Morgan Dutton, 89, passed away July 14, 2023 at her residence.

The Effingham County native was a homemaker, seamstress, and hairdresser.  She was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie M. Williams Morgan and Louie Morgan; her husband, Brenard "Billy" Dutton; son, Bartow C. Dutton; and granddaughter, Kimberly Jo Studier-Harris.

Survivors include her daughters, Becky Brigdon (Mike) and Joette Studier (Joe); son, Larry K. Dutton; grandchildren, Joseph H. Studier, Jr., Erica B. Lee, Trey L. Brigdon, Bartow C. Dutton, II, Stephanie Stills, and Beth Stills; 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Guyton Cemetery.
