Guyton-Mrs. Dorothy L. Gantt Hanna, 79, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at
St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mrs. Hanna was born in Chatham County to the late O.B. & Martha Mae Gantt. She was
a charter member of Countryside Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening
and loved her pets. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughters, Chrystal Ray, Suzanne (Bobby) Counts and Lynn
(Jerrell) Woods, all of Guyton; grandchildren, Billy J. Ray, Jr., Jennifer Counts,
Stephanie Thompson and Rebecca Counts; three great-grandchildren and a number of
nieces and nephews, including Johnny & Miriam Johnson, Billie Ann and Debra Johnson
and Patricia (Danny) Sikes.

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

The celebration of Mrs. Hanna's life will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the
funeral home. Rev. Mike Jones will officiate, the active pallbearers will be Johnny
Johnson, Danny Sikes, Edward Hargroves, Dennis Thompson, Tonis Goros and Danny
Ray, the honorary pallbearers will be Troy Bell and Billy Ray, Sr.. Burial will follow at
Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
