Dorothy Virginia Grubbs
Springfield – Dorothy Virginia Grubbs, 79, passed away November 26, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
The Virginia native grew up proud of being a coal miner's daughter. She worked as a nurse's aide and was a animal lover.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Carl Travis Grubbs of Port Wentworth and Charles Marvin Grubbs (Gilroy Hunter Harden) of Alexandria, VA.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416 or the donor's local animal shelter.
