Guyton – Dorothy Eloise Hargroves Dasher, 65, passed away August 18, 2024 at her home.

The Effingham County native was a member of Marlow Methodist Church and a homemaker.  She loved her grandbabies, peacocks, and flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Albert Hargroves, Sr. and Ruby Lene Peeples Huncke Hargroves; husband, Carl Richard Dasher; siblings, Betty Pittman, Juanita McClendon, Amanda Abbott, Kathy Huncke, and Raymond Hargroves.

Survivors include her children, Letitia Shuman (Chip), Carl Dasher (Ashley), and Delta Ward (Chris); step-children, Greg Dasher, Allen Dasher, and Larry Dasher; cherished niece, Connie Carter; grandchildren, Zoee, Tessa, Madi, Gavin, Luna, Lily, Griffin, and Clara; number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchild; siblings, Elizabeth Cole and Edward Hargroves; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Marlow Methodist Church.

Interment will follow in Marlow Cemetery.

Flowers may be given or donations to help with the cost of the funeral expenses can made to the funeral home.
