Guyton- Dorothy C. Murphy died early Friday, Nov.23 at her residence.
She was born in New York, NY and had lived in Reisterstown,MD for 47 years before moving to Guyton. She was the widow of Ernest P. Murphy after a marriage of 53 years. She retired from the MD State Police and the Department of Transportation.
She is survived by a brother, Edward Burke; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Wayne Reinaman, Laurie and Doug Robinson, Kerry and Jim Jarrell; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Cheryl Murphy; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson.
Visitation will be 4P.M. to 6P.M. Sunday at the funeral home with a Prayer Service at 5P.M.
Funeral mass will be 10A.M. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
