Obituary
Bloomingdale-Mrs. Dorothy Wingate Patrick, 88, died on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at
her home.
Mrs. Patrick was born in Chatham County and was preceded in death by her husband,
P.P. Patrick. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale where she
played the piano and taught Sunday School. She retired from Union Camp after 40 years
of service and was the co-owner/operator of Patrick's IGA. She enjoyed playing the
piano and spending time in her flower garden.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Vernon & Anne Wingate of Garden City
and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 4-6 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Bonaventure Cemetery.
