Obituary
Richmond Hill– Doug Smith, 47, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Savannah native was employed at Georgia Pacific and was of the Methodist Faith. Doug was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.
Survivors include his daughters, Krista and Ashley Smith; parents, J.D. and Diane Smith; sister, Novi Harvey (Steve); a niece and a nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, March 29, 2013 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery.
Special thanks to his co-workers at Georgia Pacific, the JC Lewis Cancer Center, and the St. Joseph's ICU staff for their care during Doug's illness.
