Mr. Douglas Jeffrey Nordberg, 69, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Candler Hospital.

Doug is going to be missed by his beloved family, including his wife of 42 years, DeAnn Nordberg; children, Stephanie Hardcastle (Jeremy), Brittany Ambrogi (John), Ericka Stafford, Nikolas Nordberg (Andrea), and Emily Nordberg; seventeen grandchildren; sisters, Chere Johanson and Patti Helzer, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by a grandson, Oliver Nolan Ambrogi; parents, Richard William Nordberg and Marian Rissman Nordberg, and a brother, Burton Richard Nordberg.

Doug served his country in the United States Army, retiring after 41 years of service.  He enjoyed music and was always very helpful to others.  He never met a stranger, and was very intentional about sharing his love for his family members.

The celebration of Doug's life will be on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 4 p.m. at the family residence located at 379 Southwilde Way, Pooler, Georgia.
