Rincon – Earl V. Neurath, 89, passed away December 5, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Chatham County native retired from Union Camp after 44 years of service and was a member of Bible Lutheran Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Neurath and Mattie Floyd Neurath; sister, Nona Chafin; brothers, Jay Neurath and Floyd Neurath.

Survivors include his wife of 67 ½ years, Ruby Owens Neurath; daughters, Connie Bazemore (Earl), Gayle Oslund (Larry), and Julie Thompson (Ken); 9 grandchildren, Carmen Horst (Matt), Travis Bazemore (Kimberly), Ryan Bazemore (Tiffany), Jared Oslund, Nicole Oslund, Elena Oslund, Luke Oslund, Meghan Nunn (Tyler), and Mckenna Thompson; 9 great-grandchildren;  brother, Carl Neurath; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial services will be 12 noon Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Bible Lutheran Church.
