Rincon - Mr. Earl ("Tommy") Powell, 66, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 surrounded by his loving daughter and son.  Mr. Powell was born in Savannah, Georgia. He was a hardworking father and devoted husband who enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren with sweet treats. After greater than thirty of years of service, Mr.  Powell retired from Gulfstream Aerospace.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Susan H. Powell; parents Earl and Wilma Powell.  He is survived by his son and daughter in love, Thomas and Lauren Powell; daughter and son in love, Kate and Kane McKinney; grandchildren, Violet and Griffin Powell; Joel, Jake, and Luke McKinney; numerous cousins and beloved nephews and nieces.  The visitation will be on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  The graveside funeral and burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, Georgia.  Thomas C.
