Eden-Mr. Eddie Dunaway, 75, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at his home.
Eddie was born in Ocala, FL to the late Ernest & Daisy Dunaway. He was a member of Powers Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He retired from Union Camp.
Survivors include his wife, Maurice Dunaway of Eden; children, Marsha Brown (Gordon) of Clyo, Daisy Kenny (Pat) of Richmond Hill, Christy Crowe (Mark, Sr.) of Wisconsin, Patsy Vashey (Thomas) of Savannah, and Viola Rae Rivenbark (Reggie) of Sylvania; step-children, Gary Parker of Effingham County, Constance Ball (Danny) of Florida, Donna Haupt (Howard) of Florida, Wayne Parker (deceased)(Theresa), Linda Beck (Gabriel) of Effingham County, Sandra Smith, and Bruce Parker (Angela) of Bloomingdale; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Powers Baptist Church located at 1104 U.S. Hwy. 80 in Eden. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Powers Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 730, Eden, GA 31307.
