Bloomingdale-Mr. Eddie R. Jenkins, 63, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Eddie was born in Savannah to the late George & Letha Jenkins. He retired from Gulfstream and served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, hunting and raising Cockatiels and Parakeets.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jenkins; daughter and future son-in-law, Stacy Jenkins & Harvey Hodges; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Heather Jenkins; grandchildren, Megan & Daryl Devereaux, Trey Norris, Brenden Norris, Cole Jenkins, Evan Jenkins, and Ty Jenkins; great-granddaughter, Mya Devereaux; brothers, Ernie, Darnell, and Roy Jenkins, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler, GA.
