Pooler-Mrs. Edith Marie Harden Tuten, 98, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at The Place at Pooler.
She was born in Savannah to the late Henry & Nina Cobb Harden. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis Ingram Tuten. She lived in Charleston, SC most of her life before moving to Pooler in 1994. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Charleston, and also attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler. She loved animals and took care of several cats. She attended Stokes Business College.
Survivors include her sister, Sadie H. Belt; two sisters-in-law, Mary Harden, and Thelma Tuten as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Sandy Run Cemetery located on Hwy 63 near Varnville, SC.
