POOLER: Miss. Edith Elaine Hazzard, 69, died Thursday, September 23, 2010.
The Chatham county native was born to the late, Montgomery B. Hazzard, Sr. and Pearl V. Carter and was of the Baptist faith. She was a very caring person and was loved by many.
She is survived by her sister, Martha (Sonny) Brewton; brother, Montgomery (Carolyn) B. Hazzard, Jr.; niece, Teresa Stewart and nephew, R. Wayne Hazzard.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Brickyard Cemetery on Ft. Argyle Road.
