Guyton - Edna Louise Turner Raney, 79, passed away Saturday morning, December 12, 2015 at Signature Healthcare.

Born in Selma County North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Rachel Turner. Mrs. Raney was retired and formerly attended the North Salem Baptist Church. She had several hobbies including gardening, sewing, and collecting. Mrs. Raney was preceded in death by her husband, Garold Raney and a son, Joshua Raney.

Surviving are four daughters, Donna McKenzie of Fort Meyers, Florida Betty Louise McCarthy of Pooler, Carol Diane Jones of Wilmington Island, and Krista Kania of Midway; a step son, Garold Raney, Jr. of Vincennes, Indiana; her sister, Annie Laura Dugas of Lake Charles, Louisiana; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home.

Interment will be private
