Edna Clifton Sandefur
A loving mother and wife, Edna Clifton Sandefur of Pooler, GA, passed away at the age of 90 on the morning of Saturday, June 14th. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ret. MSgt Charles Edwin Sandefur, her first child Brenda Joyce Sandefur, and ten siblings. Edna is survived by three children—daughter Dale Price, sons Bruce and Glenn Sandefur, also of Pooler and her sister, Lillian Wilder of Yulee, Florida. She was blessed with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Sandefur retired from Great Dane Trailers in Savannah where she worked for more than twenty years. The undeniable matriarch of her family, she was both proud beyond measure and beautiful inside and out. She left her legacy on everyone she met; not only with her kind smile but her firm belief in doing what was right.
Visitation: 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 19, 2014 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.
Funeral: 12:00 p.m. on Friday June 20, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Guyton Cemetery.
