Edna Mae Scott
Guyton - Edna Mae Scott, born on June 15, 1925 passed away quietly April 25, 2015 at her residence.
Mrs. Scott was a lifelong child of God, homemaker and mother. She enjoyed the flowers more than the gardening, sewing, cross-stitch and other crafts. She was a native of Emanuel county and lived in Guyton, GA for over 50 years.
She is predeceased by her husband George G Scott.
Survived by one brother, James Miller and wife Shirley of Norfolk, VA and one sister Ruth Miller Brant of Statesboro, GA. Two sons Jerry L. Scott and wife Jane of Midway, GA and Alfred Scott of Houma,LA. Two daughters Minnie Lee Bell of Guyton, GA. and Beth Dill and husband Bill of Moody, AL. Ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The funeral will be at Pine Street Baptist Church (118 2nd Ave, Guyton, GA 31312), Monday April 27th. Visitation from 2-3pm with service immediately to follow at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in the Guyton Cemetery beside her beloved husband.
If you wish, donations may be made to Hospice Advantage of Savannah, 310 Commercial Drive, Ste. A, Savannah, GA 31406 in lieu of flowers.
