Eden-Mrs. Edna Jean Woods, 72, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at her home.
She was born in Statesboro to the late Rufus & Ommie Stafford. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mike Fail. She was of the Baptist faith, and retired from K-Mart after 32 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Cordell Woods; step-children, Lala and Logan; daughter-in-law, Kay Reddick; grandchildren, Craig, Shannon, Lisa, Anna, Kelly, and Juan; a number of grea-grandchildren; life-long friend, Faye Kramer.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mrs. Woods' life will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
