BLOOMINGDALE: Mr. Edward "Eddie" Donahue, 54, died peacefully at home on December 16, 2011.
Eddie was born on October 4, 1957 to Howard and Hazel Donahue. Eddie grew up in Bloomingdale where he currently attended church at Life Springs Worship Center. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard E. Donahue.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Hazel Donahue; sisters, Nola Hickey of Augusta, Myra Crosby (Jerry), of Bloomingdale, Doris Gibson (Barry) of Bloomingdale and Hilda Patrick (Jim Roberts) of Midway; nephews, Kevin Hickey, Barry Gibson (Patricia), Brian Crosby (Wendy); nieces, Renee Yeates (Phil), Regina Fox (Jim), Kimberly Richardson (Jason), Marci Helverson (Charlie), Stephanie Patrick and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 19, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
