Edward Fulton Hargroves

Guyton – Edward Fulton Hargroves, 62, passed away March 10, 2026.

The Effingham County native had a knack for repairing small engines and old cars. He would often bond with family and friends while working on projects. He was always willing to lend a hand because it meant spending time with someone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramond Albert Hargroves, Sr. and Ruby Lene Peeples Huncke Hargroves; siblings, Juanita McClendon, Amanda Abbott, “Kathy” Cathryn Fay Huncke, Dorothy Dasher, Betty Pittman and Raymond A. Hargroves, Jr.

Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth Cole; brothers-in-law, Mark Cole and Joey Pittman; two cherished nieces, Connie Carter and Letitia Shuman; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
