Mr. Edward L. Palmer, 77, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at The Oaks at Pooler.

Ed was born in Woodstown, New Jersey and had lived here since 2017.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Palmer and Elizabeth Pancoast Palmer, as well as a brother, Bennett Palmer.  Ed was a licensed Certified Public Accountant and was a member of Compassion Christian Church – Henderson Campus.  He was an avid golfer, camper, and hiker who enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail with his step-sons.

Survivors include his wife, Joi Margaret Palmer; step-sons, Christopher Barr and Jonathan Barr; son, John Palmer; grandchildren, David Barr, Jonah Barr, Noah Barr, Lily Palmer, and Chris Palmer; siblings, Tina Gemmill, Kathy McGlaughlin, Jim Palmer, John Palmer, and David Palmer, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be on Saturday, September 7th at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
