Eden-Mr. Edward M. "Bubba" Smith, 83, passed away at Memorial Health University Medical Center on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
Bubba was born in Eden to the late Edward L. & Emily W. Smith. He served his country in the U.S. Army, and retired from Continental Field and Machinery.
Survivors include his sister, Nancy L. Blackmon, and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral and burial will be on Tuesday (today) at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
