Obituary
Savannah, GA-Mr. Edwin Hartmaier, 92, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Habersham House.
Mr. Hartmaier was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Albert & Mary Hartmaier. He served his country in the Navy during World War II, including two tours in the Philippines aboard a PT boat, and later retired from the Navy. He was a Mason and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles play football.
Survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Blome, and spouse, Dennis Fillmore of Savannah, GA; grandson, Victor and wife, Renee Blome, and granddaughter, Gwen Blome, the grandchildren reside in San Diego, CA.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Beverly National Cemetery located at 916 Bridgboro Road in Beverly, NJ with military honors.
Remembrances may be given to the Habersham House, 5200 Habersham Street, Savannah, GA 31405.
