Obituary
Bloomingdale-Mr. Edwin J. Winn, 80, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Mr. Ed was born in Evans County to the late James & Willa Winn. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, retired from the Georgia Ports Authority, and was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margel Donaldson Winn; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janice & Charles Stricklin, and Rebecca Winn Marsh; grandchildren, Katy Stricklin, Sharon & Charles Hearn, and Jeremy Stricklin; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Oliver Hearn, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alpha United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Alpha United Methodist Church Building Fund, 5 East U.S. Hwy 80, Bloomingdale, GA 31302.
