Mary "Elizabeth" Bowers (88) of Pooler, Ga peacefully passed away on March 5, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband of of 63 years, Roy Bowers, and her parents, Hoke and Reva Smith of Pembroke, GA.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Patrick (Pat) of Richmond Hill, her son Robert "Bobby" Bowers (Lisa) of Guyton, her sister Frances Perguson of Louisburg, NC and a niece and nephew.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Draughons Business College of Savannah. She retired from Hoffman, Skinner and Barndollar CPA firm after many years. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Garden City for over 60 years.
She was known as "Mema" to her 5 grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Lauren, Kristen and Jasen, and 7 great-grandchildren and she loved watching them grow.

Visitation will be held at 10am with services to follow at 11am, Tuesday, March 8th, at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home in Pooler, GA. Burial will be at Northside Cemetery in Pembroke, GA.
Remembrances can be made to First Baptist Church of Garden City.
