Purlear, NC-Mrs. Elizabeth Powell Fetty, 93, died on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at
Watauga Medical Center.

Mrs. Fetty was preceded in death by her husband, Carless Paul Fetty, Sr., one son,
Thomas R. Fetty; her father and mother, William and Josephine Miller Powell, and one
brother, William Powell.

Survivors include one son, Paul Fetty and wife, Blenda of Purlear; one sister, Edna Mae
Walker of Montgomery, AL; one granddaughter, Pamela F. Rockett and husband, Foye,
of Savannah, GA; one grandson, Brian Paul Fetty and wife, Amanda, of Purlear; two
great-grandsons, Corey Rockett of Savannah, and Jacob Fetty of Purlear, and one
great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Rockett of Savannah. She is also survived by a number of
nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with Mr. Foye Rockett, Jr.
officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Bonaventure Road.
