Mrs. Ellemena Louise Lybrand Watts
Springfield – Mrs. Ellemena Louise Lybrand Watts, 101, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Effingham Care Center.
The South Carolina native was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springfield and served on the Benevolence Committee at the church. She retired from DFACS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Fannie Johnson Lybrand; husband, Leroy Watts; children, Henrietta Watts and Roy Watts; and her siblings.
She is survived by her children, Faye Lancaster, Paul (Martha) Watts, Eva Poole, and George E. (Betty) Watts; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Springfield followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
Remembrances may be given to First Baptist Church of Springfield, 1435 Hwy. 119 N., Springfield, GA 31329.
