Mr. Elliott W. "Billy" Boyles, III, 73, of Guyton, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by his father and mother, Elliott W. Boyles, Jr. and Mary Boyles, and his birth mother, Vivian Thompson.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Boyles, and brothers, Bruce Boyles and Freddy Boyles.  He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1968-1970 where he received a Purple Heart.  He retired from Georgia Power after 33 years of service.  He attended Bethesda United Methodist Church, the Alee Shriners – Hillbilly Unit – for 40 years, and the Bryan County Masonic Lodge # 303.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nellie Boyles; son, Elliott W. "Bubba" Boyles, IV (Shelly); grandchildren, Airel Rushing (Cory), Brittney Gilmore, Elliott W. "Connor" Boyles V (Crystal), and Sophia Smesta (Sonya); six great-grandchildren; brother, John Boyles (Jackie); sister, Terri Rowe, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, July 15 ^th from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial with military honors and Masonic Rites will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
