Rincon – Elmeda Jones Futrill, 88, passed away after a long illness Thursday, April 21, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Curtis L. Futrill, her parents Ervin Jones and Beatress Collins, and her brother Arthur Wayne Collins.

Survived by sons, William Futrill (Rachel) and Edward Futrill (Brenda).  Grandchildren, Laura Tice (Lee), Staci Flanders (Trey), and Michael Mock (Elaine).  Great-grandchildren, Carleigh, Helen, Paris, Delilah, and David.  Sister, DeAlva Sheffield.  Brothers, W. Leon Jones and Michael C. Collins.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel.

Private graveside services will be held at Anderson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Collins, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pruitt Hospice.
