Obituary
Bloomingdale-Mrs. Eloise Carter Love passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Hospice Savannah.
Mrs. Eloise was born in Baxley to the late Willie Howard Carter and Bertha Burkhalter Carter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Love. She was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church and the Bloomingdale Homemakers.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Reynolds of Midway, Tim & Sherry Love of Thunderbolt and Karl & Cathy Johnson, III of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Joey Reynolds, Alexis Love, Caleigh Love, Katie Johnson and Casey Johnson; great-granddaughter, Abigail Reynolds; sisters, Chris Santos, Diane Stokes, Marilyn Dixon and Brenda Waters and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation was froom 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mrs. Love's life was at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Tom Carruth and Brother Dennis Maddox officiating. Active pallbearers were Charles Peacock, Randy Peacock, David Whitfield, Chris Stephens, Rick Hoskins and Randall Love. Honorary Pallbearers were Karl Johnson, Jr. and Erik Johnson. Burial followed at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
