Port Wentworth-Mrs. Elsie Douglas Hall, 94, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Elsie was born in Savannah to the late John Adam Douglas and Sarah McDonald Douglas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Hubert Hall and a daughter, Gloria Hall Cottros.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hall Cottros; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow at Douglas Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a celebration of Mrs. Elsie's life in the social hall at Central Baptist Church, located at 4010 Old Louisville Road in Garden City.
