Guyton – Elsie Wilson, 86, passed away, Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her residence.

The Cobb County native was a retired police officer and a wonderful artist. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. She loved plants and Dr. Phil. Her puppies, Sam & Chico, were her spoiled rotten babies. When she befriended you, it was completely. Mrs. Wilson was an avid reader. She would go out of her way to help anyone. She had an energy and a love for life that was never ending and a smile that was addictive. She brought joy to the hearts of everyone that knew her. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Heaven has surely gained its best angel yet. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Adrian Wilson; her children, David Richards, Cathy Shearouse, and Steven Richards; sisters, Ann Jackson and Grace Huggins; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 1-2 pm Saturday, July 2, 2022 in the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 2 pm Saturday, July 2, 2022 in the funeral home chapel.

Inurnment: Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery
