Elvie Mae Shuman Wilson
Guyton – Elvie Mae Shuman Wilson, 78, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Bryan County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield and the Soul Survivors Sunday School Class. She retired from First Bank of Coastal Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Addie Mae Driggers Shuman; and siblings, Thelma Randall and Lewis Shuman.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin I. Wilson of Guyton; daughters, Kelly W. (Lee) Rahn of Springfield and Kristie W. (John) Stern of East Greenwich, RI; grandchildren, Troy and Ivey Rahn, Andrew and Kayla Stern; siblings, Doris Lovell of Richmond Hill, Ed Shuman of Springfield, and Margaret Widener of Richmond Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to God's Mission House at First Baptist Church of Springfield, 1435 Hwy. 119 N., Springfield, GA 31329.
