Embree Curtis Minchey, Jr., 51, of Rincon, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home.

Embree was born in Savannah, Georgia and was preceded in death by his father, Embree Curtis Minchey, Sr.  He was formerly employed at the Georgia Ports Authority.  He enjoyed listening to his favorite band, Blue October.  He enjoyed boating, watching movies, and in his younger years, playing baseball, softball and football.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Minchey; children, Chase Kirk, Gage Minchey, Julian Minchey, Avery Minchey, and Gunner Minchey; mother, Beverly Minchey; sisters, Monica McKinney and Christy Holland; brother, Tim (Tracy) Milsaps; nephew, Alex Caldwell; nieces, Haley Holland (Michaela) and Shelbey Price.

The visitation will be on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home – WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL – located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
