Mrs. Emily Jean Hollingsworth, 74, of Guyton, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Patterson, GA to the late Otha Birch Patterson & Mary Elizabeth Bagley Patterson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Hollingsworth.  She will be remembered as a humble, kind and nurturing lady, as well as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Strickland (Stan); son, Darren Hollingsworth (Debbie); grandchildren, Jessi Roberson, Craig Burgstiner, Tyler Burgstiner, Rhett Strickland, Reid Hollingsworth, and Jeanni Hollingsworth; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Patterson (Rhonda), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:30 on Tuesday, April 27 ^th at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
