Centerville, GA – Emma Howell Bright, 72, passed away September 2, 2025 at Atrium Navicent Hospital in Macon, GA.

The Chatham County native formerly worked in retail, she enjoyed working with ceramics and playing Bunko.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Alice Collins Howell.

Survivors include her husband, Paul A. Bright; son, Perry Bright (Regina); grandchildren, Brianna Bright and Noelle Attaway (Chase); brothers, David Howell, Steve Howell and Robert Howell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Strickland Funeral Home, 2460 Hwy. 21 S., Rincon, GA 31326.

Graveside services will be 12 noon Monday, September 8, 2025 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA 31404.
