Savannah - Emma "Lucille" Skierski Christie

Lucille was born in Glen St. Mary's, Florida, May 13 1929. Being a mother of six children was the only 'job' she'd ever known and the only one she ever wanted and she was excellent at it! There isn't enough room or words to explain just how much she sacrificed for all of us and how much we all LOVE her. She quietly and peacefully passed away Monday morning at home after a long illness. She was a lady with a loving soul, kind heart, and strong faith.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Skierski, a granddaughter, Michelle Outen, and the love of her life, her husband, Carl Christie.

Left to miss her daily are her children, Elaine Outen (Garry), Dawn Geringer (Tink), Teri Grayson (Chip), Deborah Walker (Rick) and Ernest Long (Myra), an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even a couple of great-great-grandchildren along with other family and some really great friends.

She will be forever loved and remembered in all our hearts.

Visitation: Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
