Mr. Emory Rudolph Coleman, age 87, passed away on December 30, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA. Mr. Coleman was a veteran of the Korean War and worked at Union Camp for over 38 years. He was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine Wilson Coleman; his brothers, Brooks and Homer C.; his sister, Jeanette; and his grandson, Matthew. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rowe Coleman; his sons, Rudy (Patricia), Randy (Terri), Lennie (Deanna), Ricky, and Rex (Angela); seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday, January 3, at 11:30 AM at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel. Pastor Jay Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
