Pooler-Mrs. Etharee "Dell" R. Waters died on Friday, May 4, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
The Tattnall County native lived in Pooler most of her life and was a member of Rothwell Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for many years as well as a Sunday school teacher for 54 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Waters; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ward Rogers; her sister, Willene R. Hendrix; a sister, Jewel R. Moon; a brother, Jimmy Rogers and a great-grandchild, Samantha Waters.
She is survived by two sons, Alan (Gale) Waters and Greg (Dale) Waters; two daughters, Ann W. (Billy) Lively and Sandy (Jerry) Talley; sister, Margie Gordy; brother, Jerry Rogers; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Devin Bell officiating. Active pallbearers will be Will Harley, Travis Lively, Chris Waters, Brent Waters, Brandon Lively and Brian Talley. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Dot Bacon Sunday School Class. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
