Eugene C. Kessler
Guyton- Eugene C. Kessler, 81, passed away February 21, 2015 at Hospice Savannah.
The Effingham County native was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. He had been a charter member of Berea Southern Methodist Church, where he had taught Sunday School and had been the Chairman of the Board of Stewards. He had worked at American Can Company for 14 years, but had retired from Gulfstream after working 27 years.
Eugene was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Joyce Jarriel Kessler; children, Belinda Boyd (Dave), Cynthia Chesler (John), and Timothy Kessler (Karen); brother, Robert Kessler (Janelle); 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday, February 23, 2015 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Bethesda United Methodist Church.
Interment: Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery
