Mrs. Eugenia Barba Zipperer, 90, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Pruitt Seaside.

Eugenia was born in Pese', Republic of Panama and had lived here for 70 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Zipperer, Sr., her mother, Leo Vihilda Guevara, as well as several brothers and sisters.  She was of the Catholic faith.  She loved her children, animals, and life itself.  She will be remembered for being a friend to all that knew her.

Survivors include her children, Ralph F. Zipperer, Jr., Marie E. Hill (George), James Zipperer (Teresa), Carol A. Lamb (David), and Ronald L. Zipperer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five brothers and a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Eugenia's life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery on Wheaton Street in Savannah, Georgia.
