PT. WENTWORTH: Mrs. Evalena Mock Godbee, 71, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010.
Mrs. Godbee was originally from Screven Co. GA . She was member of Pt. Wentworth United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William F. (Billy) Godbee and her father, Christopher Mock.
She is survived by her mother, Neda Mock of Pt. Wentworth; sons, Keith (Gail) Godbee of Pt. Wentworth, Allen (Ginger) Godbee of Pt. Wentworth, Chris (Sharon) Godbee of Guyton and Larry Godbee of Pt. Wentworth; grandchildren, Carrie Barr, Michelle Hickman, Cindy Lewis, Heather McCutchen, Brad, Wesley and Preston Godbee; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Peavy of Pt. Wentworth; a niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Pt. Wentworth United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
