Ms. Evelyn Juanita Grizzard Holliday, 86, of Savannah, died on August 12, 2017.
She lived in Savannah all of her life and retired from the Savannah Public Library. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Pauline Grizzard; brother, Buck Grizzard; sisters, Christine Sams, Pauline (Trixie) Banks, and husband, Fred Holliday.
She is survived by her brother, Paul Grizzard; son, Dennis Ray Holliday (Pam); daughter, Angela Holliday Burgstiner (Kenny); grandchildren, Lisa Foskey (Brian), Shane Waller-Tolias (Mike), Jeremy Holliday (Taylor), Josh Holliday, and Alicia Brower (Don); great-grandchildren, Savannah Champion, Kaileigh Holliday, Thea Brower, several nieces and nephew.
The visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at a later date at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
