Bloomingdale – Evona Sikes Rentz, 61, daughter of the late Allen Judson and Minnie Lott Sikes, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Memorial Health and University Medical Center in Savannah.
The Evans County (Claxton Community) native Lived in Bloomingdale for many years. She worked as a service technician for over twenty years with Bellsouth before retiring. Ms. Rentz was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her sisters and brothers; Wilma Strange, Geraldine Lambert, Oscar "Jr" Sikes, Robert C. Sikes, Johnny Cecil Sikes, John Ray Sikes, Geanie Clement, Gwen Reid, Vicki Arnold and Nettie Lee; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many wonderful friends.
Visitation: 5-8 pm Friday, May 17, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1:30 Saturday, May 18, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her loving nephews, David Strange, Stevie Lambert, Cliff Sikes, Joshua Sikes, Nathan Coleman, and J.T. Lee.
Interment: Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bulloch County.
