Ewell R. Proctor

Hardeeville, SC – Ewell R. Proctor, 70, passed away July 1, 2026 at St. Jospeh’s Hospital.

The Effingham County native was a longtime resident of Hardeeville. He was the owner/operator of Proctor’s Farm Supply in Ridgeland, SC. He was an entrepreneur who loved buying/selling equipment and animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Faye Heidt Proctor.

Survivors include his sister, Rita Seago (Michael); brothers, Elliott Proctor and Everett Proctor (Angela); 3 nieces; 1 nephew; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2026 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in the funeral home chapel.
