Meldrim – Faye Saturday Emsweller, 75, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Faye was an avid gardener.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Rahn, Sr. and Martha Rahn; her late husband, C.R. Saturday, Jr.; brothers, Kenneth Rahn, Jr., Wendell Rahn, Bernard Rahn; sons, Robert Keith Saturday and Del Saturday.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Emsweller; daughters, Ebony Beckworth (Brian), LaJuan Taylor (Terry), Michele Spalding (Steve); 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Jenny Davis (William), Nikki Coulter (Jason), Patrick Emsweller (Tiffany), Terry Emsweller; and 7 step-grandchildren; sisters, Anne Darst (John), Sharon Hales (Dennis), Frankie Fort (Tommy), Bonnie Randle (Michael), and Paula Rahn; sisters-in-law, Rose Rahn and Jackie Rahn; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 5 -7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  The funeral will be on Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
