Orlando, FL – Florence (Flo) Annie (Jenkins) (Sylvester) Bridger, of Orlando, FL completed her journey on earth and passed away peacefully, on March 12, 2013, at age 86, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 15, 1926, in Hiltonia, GA. She was the daughter of the late Annie Munn Jenkins and Collie W. Jenkins. She was twice widowed to SMSgt Charles Cox Bridger, Sr. (Chuck) and Cpl Ceaser Sylvester. She was mom to Chuck and Bonnie Bridger, Tootsie and Terry Gardner, and Tina and Joel Hammock. She was grandma to Doug Bridger, Wendi Gardner (John) Rome, Jimmy Woods, Joel Hammock, TJ Gardner, Jacquie Hammock and Jennifer Hammock. She was great-grandma to Trey Gardner, Lena Woods, Falon Gardner, Aiden Hammock, Ryker Gardner Rome, Cairys Gardner, and Addison Hammock. She is survived by her beloved sister, Esma Barnwell of Savannah, GA, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was retired from Lockheed Martin where she still continued many loving relationships with friends. She will be laid to rest in Savannah, GA in her family plot between her two late husbands. The visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the funeral home. The graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, GA. Arrangements entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home, Pooler, GA 912-748-2444.
