Florence Sims Sanders Moore
Springfield – Florence Sims Sanders Moore, 70, passed away May 7, 2016 at Effingham Care Center.
The Effingham County native was a member of Centerpoint Community Church and was employed at Joann's Florist for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry C., Sr. and Rose Sims; husband, Troy A. Moore, Sr.; siblings, Mary Bowers, Marie Foley, and Harry Sims, Jr.
Survivors include her children, Sonya (Jeff) Haywood, Jody (Melissa) Sanders, Melanie (Craig) Exley; grandchildren, Camela Exley, Chelsey Haywood, Emily (Jared) Exley Engel, Ashley Sanders, and Autumn Asbill Sanders; brothers, George Frank Sims of Nebraska and Alexandria "Andy" Sims of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Centerpoint Community Church.
Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery.
