Floyd W. Neurath

Rincon- Floyd W. Neurath, 77, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Sylview Nursing Center in Sylvania.

The longtime Effingham County native was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church and had worked in aircraft assembly at Gulfstream until 1997, when he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Mattie F. Neurath; his sister, Nona N. Chafin; and nephew, Carl A. Neurath, Jr.

Survivors include his brothers, William Jay Neurath (Lu Neil), Earl V. Neurath (Ruby), and Carl A. Neurath, Sr. (Linda Gail); 11 nieces and nephews; 22 "grands" ; 3 "great-grands"; and loving caregivers, Cynthia Duncan, Charlotte Goldwire, Barbara Goldwire, and Rochelle Grant.

Visitation: 3- 5 pm Sunday, April 22, 2012 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 pm Monday at Rincon United Methodist Church.

Interment: Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery.
